These Terms govern your use of the CanDo Intelligence platform operated by Society Encore Consulting Inc. (“CanDo Intelligence”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.
CanDo Intelligence provides AI-assisted legal-matter assessments and a litigation-finance marketplace connecting claimants, law firms, insurers, and funders.
CanDo Intelligence is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Assessments are generated by artificial intelligence for informational purposes, may contain errors, and must not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer licensed in the relevant jurisdiction. Any legislation or case law referenced must be independently verified. You are responsible for obtaining professional review before acting on any output.
Assessments, merit scores, and marketplace listings are not offers, guarantees, or commitments to provide or receive funding. Funding arrangements are solely between the relevant parties.
You must provide accurate registration information, be at least 18, and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
You agree not to use the platform unlawfully; not to upload content you lack the right to share or that violates another’s confidentiality; and not to scrape, reverse-engineer, resell, or overburden the service.
You retain ownership of the case details and documents you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process them to provide the service (including AI assessment), and you represent that you have the right to submit them.
The platform, software, and generated assessment format are owned by us and protected by law. These Terms grant you no rights in them except to use the service.
The platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, including as to accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions made in reliance on assessments. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the platform or your breach of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, and disputes are subject to the courts of Ontario.
We may update these Terms or suspend/terminate accounts that breach them. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
