Privacy Policy

Society Encore Consulting Inc. (“CanDo Intelligence”, “we”, “us”)operates the CanDo Intelligence platform at candointel.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and protect it, and your choices. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws.

Information we collect

• Account & profile: first and last name, email, phone number, city, postal code, account/profile type, and (for organizations) company name.
• Content you submit: case descriptions, matter details, and any documents you upload for assessment or into a diligence room.
• Payment information: subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number; we store a Stripe customer reference and subscription status.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and usage information, plus an essential sign-in cookie to keep you logged in.

How we use your information

• To provide the platform, generate AI case assessments, and operate the marketplace.
• To process subscriptions, billing, and applicable sales tax.
• To verify your email, secure accounts, and send service messages.
• To send platform and marketing communications, from which you may opt out.
• To maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

AI processing

Case descriptions and uploaded documents you submit for assessment are processed by our AI provider to generate an analysis. Assessments are informational only, are generated by AI, and are not legal advice — we recommend review by a qualified legal professional before you rely on them.

Service providers we share with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with vendors who process it on our behalf under their own terms: Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI assessment), Resend (transactional & verification email), Render (hosting and database), and Cloudflare (DNS/CDN/security). We may also disclose information where required by law.

Where your data is stored

Our infrastructure and some service providers are located in the United States, so your information may be processed or stored outside Canada and subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.

Retention & security

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed for the purposes above or to meet legal requirements. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, data is encrypted in transit, and access is restricted.

Your rights

Under PIPEDA you may request access to or correction of your personal information, withdraw consent, or ask us to delete your account. Contact us at [email protected]. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Children

The platform is intended for users 18 and older and is not directed to children.

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
